GPShade

GPShade

Using the google API, this application, using the relief of the city of Lisbon and the solar position, calculates the path through the shade. It is like a pedestrian GPS, which provides a path free from the sun.

The challenge

Lisbon is the city of the sun and attracts all those looking for good weather. It is the city with the most hours of sunshine in Europe and it has one of the mildest climates in the world. And as everyone likes the sun, especially in such a beautiful city, Lisbon receives almost millions of tourists every year.

But where there is sun, in the shade.

That’s why we created GPSHADE; an ad-on of google maps that, in real time, shows us the path with more shade to our destination.

An unfinished idea

This is an idea that needs resources. Join her or hire me. Together, we can help prevent cancer, which is the disease that kills the most in the world. Being an advertiser or designer is not just about making money, we can make a difference in the world.

Levo

levo

The challenge

The idea of building an application that can be delivered came from a given: there are approximately 3 million second-hand products in Portugal. Often, for lack of someone to deliver them.

At the same time, there is a driving force in Portugal, which crosses the country daily on trains, often to work or visit relatives. So why not take advantage of the displacement force that already exists to deliver?

The logo idea

In a simple way, the “levo” logo focuses on the location element. So that those who put their eyes on the logo knew, immediately, if this is an application that uses geolocation resources.

User Interface

The design of this application was done in Adobe XD and the logo in Adobe Illustrator. The interface prioritized a simple and objective language, since there are many screens in this application and the user could get lost in a more complex interface.

My Show

My Show!

I’d like to share my thoughts during the design assignment process provided by a startup design team during a hiring process for a Product Design position and what I did to solve in 5 days.

The challenge

The assignment of the project brings the challenge of creating a complete solution for a producer of a large producer of shows. The target is people between 20 and 50 years old, with active social life and lovers of events, such as concerts, theaters and festivals. However, it was necessary to better understand the scenario.

The logo idea

As part of the challenge, a logo and name were required the assignment. So I started looking for “Las Vegas” elements and fx. The result is this:

User Interface

To design the interface, I used the Adobe XD. The color approach was one point that I cared about. I would like to create a “flashy”interface with the best contrast possible. The idea is to show the focus to Sign Up as the primary action.

The color choices belong to an American palette that resembles spectacle lights.

Learnings

The challenge was a good opportunity to think about something new and exercise it. The missing information about concerts market or the time to get more information or try something new, show what we can do with the resources available. For me, it was a great experience and I enjoyed the result and the process. I would like to evolve the idea in a second moment gathering more information and testing the solution.
