Three Gorges Dam

The Three Gorges Dam is a hydroelectric gravity dam that crosses the Yangtze River through Sandouping City, Yiling District, Yichang, Central China’s Hubei Province, downstream of the Three Gorges. The Three Gorges Dam is the largest power plant in the world in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW) since 2012. [5] [6] The dam generates an average of 95±20 TWh of electricity per year, depending on the annual amount of precipitation in the river basin.

In 2016, China’s Three Gorges Corp transferred 4.8 billion reais ($1.48 billion) to Brazil’s government on June 30, fulfilling the payment for concessions to operate two of Brazil’s largest hydroelectric dams, the company said on Friday.

For this reason, the global expat campaign began in Brazil. The images, in the background, comprise places of that country known worldwide, which are part of the imagination of people who aim to get to know Brazil someday.
